We began our operation back in the early 80’s when Yannis, a family member who is also an architect, converted our family residence into the Athenian home that has been enjoyed by thousands of our guests since then.
Art Gallery Hotel is a small boutique hotel located in the heart of Koukaki, one of Athens’ most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods. The hotel maintains a discreet, welcoming atmosphere, combining simplicity with character. Our decoration style is minimalistic while preserving elements of the building’s retro charm, including the original wooden and marble floors and selected furniture dating back to the 1960s.
The hotel’s name was inspired by the late Dora Bouki, a family artist who lived and worked here for most of her life. For over forty years, her work as an impressionist painter was exhibited both locally and internationally. We are proud that several of her seascape paintings are still displayed throughout the hotel, giving Art Gallery Hotel its unique identity.
Breakfast is available at a nearby local bakery located just a short walk from the hotel, where guests can enjoy fresh daily options in an authentic Athenian setting.
Our hotel is situated in a safe and lively part of Koukaki, widely known as one of the most charming districts of Athens.
